Chantal Elkin, Head, World Wildlife Fund Belief and Values Programme
Chantal Elkin brings more than 30 years of experience in international conservation, focused on the protection of forests and wildlife, with particular expertise in addressing the illegal wildlife trade and advancing the intersection of religion and conservation. She spent eight years with Asia programs at Conservation International, where she served at the director level, leading program management, fundraising, donor relations, and collaboration across interdisciplinary global teams.
Elkin later served for nine years as Director of the Wildlife & Forests Programme at the Alliance of Religions and Conservation in the United Kingdom. Since July 2019, she has led the Beliefs & Values Programme across the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) global network, strengthening partnerships that engage faith communities and values-based leadership in conservation efforts worldwide.
